I wanted to share some exciting news

-I’m currently doing my Master’s in Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology here in Italy. Recently, I started a part-time job teaching biology at a Sri Lankan International School. To be honest every single day, I find myself thinking and teaching these kids based on the lessons you shared with me during my O-levels and A-levels. I honestly try to use everything I remember from your classes to use it as a guide and teach my students. I cannot thank you enough because, without your teachings, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m incredibly grateful and appreciative for everything you have taught me in the past years.

Thank you so much for being one of the reasons behind my A’s that I got for my OL and AL sir, starting from the topical past papers which made it very convenient for an average student like me, to the extra paper classes you had. You put in all efforts to make sure we attend the missed classes and catch up on them. I have always loved your practical sessions as the set ups r always up to perfection. You have been one of the most humble people I have met sir. If I know one person who would be very organized, it’s you sir. Keep up the good work sir. The silence maintained at class in your presence is definitely a vibe that cannot be matched . Thank you sir for everything. All 4 years and bio is still my favourite subject thanks to you sir. I remember joining in O levels and being in A level not even close to D and you helped me to get an A, and when i missed A* by one mark you made sure I didn’t lose motivation and still tried harder for AS and for A2 to get the missed rank.

Biology went from being a subject to get rid off as soon as possible to a subject I can’t see myself without. I am so thankful to you sir because I chose to do med because you made bio more than just a lesson. Thank you for keeping us motivated with jokes throughout your classes. It really made the lessons more memorable. I will forever be thankful for you sir and I don’t think I will find a teacher who was more than just a teacher but a role model to us. Thank you for always bringing out the best of us.
